Version 1.3 of Simmer has been released! We focused on making major under-the-hood improvements to Simmer’s core architecture, in addition to some great updates from version 1.2. These great changes will ensure platform longevity, stability, and security for Simmer users and developers alike.
New Items API
We’ve completely rewritten the way Simmer handles creating, saving, and editing recipe information. The new Items API enables developers to easily extend a recipe’s information, like ingredients and instructions, in new and exciting ways. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to share what we have in store for our Extensions Library in the near future. Developers interested in leveraging the new Items tools can get all the details from our Developer API Reference.
In the coming days we’ll be posting some short tutorials and ideas for how the Items API can be extended to meet your goals, so stay tuned!
